To qualify as a supplier, a vendor approval is required — for instance the Aramco- or ADNOC-registration for manufacturers and suppliers. The registration process can take from three up to nine months, depending on a variety of influencing factors.

Algeria — a special market

Sonatrach Algeria is one of the world’s largest oil and gas companies. To be qualified to supply oil and gas equipment to Sonatrach you will need an approval of the ARH (Autorité de Régulation des Hydrocarbures = Hydrocarbons Regulatory Authority). The respective approval process presents an additional challenge to any business attempting to export to Algeria.
